ConnexionIntroduction
This document presents Poiray’s multi-year plan for digital accessibility, covering a three-year period.
The goal is to ensure that digital services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.
Commitment and Accessibility Policy
Poiray commits to progressively integrating digital accessibility into its online services.
That is why we are committed to completing this multi-year roadmap by respecting and following the 9 themes necessary for its full implementation, namely:
Poiray's accessibility strategy is currently being structured.
It aims to integrate accessibility from the earliest stages of digital projects, raise awareness among internal teams, and prioritize essential services for users.
The first steps consist of:
● Identifying the relevant services.
● Initiating compliance audits.
● Developing a realistic and progressive multi-year action plan.
A digital accessibility officer is in the process of being appointed.
This officer will play a key role in:
● Coordinating the initiative.
● Supporting teams.
● Monitoring regulatory and technical developments.
A dedicated job description will be defined within the coming year.
The resources mobilized at this stage are primarily internal (project managers, IT managers, communications).
External support is being considered to:
● Assist with audits.
● Train teams.
● Advise on accessibility best practices.
The goal is to structure human and budgetary resources as part of the multi-year plan.
Integrating accessibility-related tasks into job descriptions is a medium-term objective.
A reflection will be launched starting in 2025 to identify the relevant roles (editors, developers, project managers, etc.) and incorporate accessibility concepts into professional frameworks.
Initial digital accessibility awareness sessions are planned starting in 2025.
The goal is to begin upskilling teams with:
● Awareness of disabilities and digital barriers.
● An introduction to RGAA.
● A presentation of the issues and regulatory obligations.
● Practical, role-specific modules (editors, developers, etc.).
The governance framework for this initiative is currently being defined.
A cross-functional monitoring committee will be established, involving relevant internal stakeholders (IT, communications, management, legal, etc.).
This committee will oversee the progress of the action plan and ensure the consistency of initiatives.
Incorporating accessibility into digital public procurement is a priority to be integrated in the coming months.
Alignment work with the Procurement Department is planned to:
● Revise request for proposal (RFP) templates.
● Introduce clauses compliant with the EN 301 549 standard and RGAA.
● Raise awareness among teams about compliance evaluation in digital services.
Future digital projects will progressively incorporate accessibility requirements.
The goal is to embed accessibility into:
● Specifications from the scoping phase.
● Tool and solution selection.
● Validation steps before going live.
Support will be provided to project managers to ensure practical and realistic implementation of accessibility.
The first annual action plan will be developed following a state of play assessment scheduled for 2025.
This review will evaluate:
● Actions completed.
● Priorities for the following year.
It will be part of a continuous improvement process, with transparent communication on progress.
Compliance
● New Projects: Accessibility is taken into account from the design phase of new projects.
● User Testing: Users with disabilities will be invited to participate in user testing whenever possible.
● Corrective Actions: Audits identify non-compliant content, and a correction schedule is established to improve the user experience.
Action Plans and Monitoring
● Annual Action Plan: An action plan is developed each year to ensure the continuous improvement of services.
● Progress Tracking: An annual review is conducted to assess the status of accessibility and set priorities for the following year.
