Independent jewelry and watchmaking house owned by a French family, the House of Poiray has accompanied all generations of women in their daily lives and in the important moments of their lives since 1975. Every creation by the House of Poiray is made in compliance with ethical standards that value people and the environment. All stages, from design to sale, encourage socially, ethically and environmentally responsible practices guaranteeing responsible sourcing for all resources used including gold, diamonds and stones. In this context, Poiray ensures that its workshops are certified by one or all of the following labels and regulations: the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), CoC (Chain of Custody), Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV), Reach, Kimberley. GOLD All Poiray creations are made of 750/1000 (18 carat) gold. The standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) encourage responsible and non-confrontational practices throughout the supply chain. RJC certification confirms responsible sourcing and production processes and demonstrates a commitment to ensuring the traceability of gold.
The House of Poiray ensures responsible sourcing that covers human rights as well as ethical, social and environmental practices. The CoC (Chain of Custody) standard, in line with OECD guidelines, establishes the requirements for traceability and ensures that materials come from known responsible sources and do not contribute to conflict. This includes meeting standards for human rights, labor conditions and environmental impact according to the policy defined in the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Code of Practice.

The gold
All Poiray creations are made of 750/1000 (18-karat) gold. The standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) encourage responsible, non-confrontational practices throughout the supply chain. RJC certification confirms responsible sourcing and production processes and demonstrates a commitment to ensuring the traceability of gold.

The diamonds
The House of Poiray places the highest importance on the provenance of its diamonds and ensures compliance with strict ethical, social and environmental principles in sourcing. Respectful of the Kimberley Process , the House of Poiray certifies on the basis of guarantees provided by its suppliers that all diamonds offered come from legal sources and ban regions where diamond trafficking is involved in financing armed conflicts.
The finest diamonds, chosen by the House's experts, are meticulously sorted and selected according to the manufacturing criteria of Poiray jewelry creations for homogeneous brilliance. Each diamond greater than 0.3 carats has a certificate from the GIA Gemological Institute of America internationally recognized institution that developed the standard of certification of diamonds the 4 Cs, criteria that combine color (Color), purity (Clarity), cut (Cut) and carat weight (Carat weight ).
THE STONES
The House of Poiray invites the rich palette of colors offered by precious stones and gemstones into its collections. The stones of the House of Poiray are natural and each one is carefully selected by the House's expert for the elaboration of Poiray jewelry creations.
Particular attention is paid to traceability and responsible sourcing of gemstones and fine stones.
In order to control the social and economic impact of the supply chain, all of Poiray' s gemstone partners are selected for their seriousness and ensure responsible sourcing.
